Cased signs
Cased, illuminated advertising is a good and affordable medium for illuminated advertising. Imagon's cased signs can easily implement smoothly illuminated advertisements - both small and large - with standard structures. The structure of a cased signed can be divided into four components: the front, the backbone, the lighting and the fixing structures.
The most important part of a cased sign is the front. The front panel can be manufactured from different materials depending on the customers' requests. The most commonly used front panel materials are:
- Acrylic plate
- Acrylic cell plate
- Flexible surface fabric
- Aluminium or steel plate
The customer’s advertising text or logo can be arranged in the front plate by various methods. The most commonly used methods are:
- Taping with high-quality illuminated advertising film
- Silk-screen printing
- Four-colour printing
- Perforated aluminium or steel plate with a taped or coloured acrylic surface
The bodies of cased illuminated signs are primarily made from the aluminium profile designed by Imagon. The profiles include all required shapes and features to make the sign as affordable, efficient and high-quality as possible. Imagon's range of profiles includes both 1- and 2-sided profiles for acrylic and flexible front surface signs. For large and/or curved cased signs, it is also possible to manufacture a steel pipe body.
The lighting of cased signs is usually implemented with fluorescent tubes. There are several different types of fluorescent tubes available for different uses. Frost-proof outdoor fluorescent tubes are primarily used for cased signs used outdoors. When selecting the lighting, we always recommend the fluorescent tube type that best suits the site and the projected operating environment.
